Claus Temporaries of America, Inc. is family owned and locally operated. We have over 49 years of experience finding jobs for people in the Toledo and surrounding areas.

Peter Claus started Claus Employment Service in 1959 in the Spitzer Building downtown when he was just 23 years old.  He opened the doors with just $1,400.00 dollars in hand.  He used the public transportation system to get to and from work for 3 years.  Peter helped gain employment for an innumerable amount of people over the last 49 years.  His determination, innovation, perseverance, adaptablility and success in the staffing industry is a inspiration to all who work at Claus.

Claus staffs primarily for clerical offices and industrial warehouses. Assignments may last anywhere from a day, week, month and/or lead into permanent positions. Our Staffing Coordinators match the applicant’s skills to the job positions we have available. When we call with a job opportunity, the applicant has the right to reject or accept the job. If the job is accepted, Claus will be considered the “legal employer”. We will expect that a commitment be made to complete the job assignment or give as much notice as possible if the match is not satisfactory to the employee. The employee is required to work for Claus 500 working hours before our client can hire the employee permanently. Most clients are watching the employee’s performance in order to be considered for permanent hire. Benefits, raises, and insurance are what usually follow a permanent hire.
